Configuring SSO for Okta

Using SSO for your team in ProductPlan requires an Enterprise Subscription.

Once configured, your team will be able to login to the ProductPlan application using their Okta account. For additional questions, please contact support.

Using SSO for your team in ProductPlan requires an Enterprise or Professional Subscription. To set up your single sign-on integration with Okta, please contact support@productplan.com and then complete the following steps:

  • In Okta you’ll need to create a new Application. Use this ProductPlan logo:

  • Add the following for Audience URI (SP Entity ID): PingConnect

  • Name ID format should be: Email address

  • For Attribute Statements you’ll need to create the mappings. Please Note existing ProductPlan users must have their Primary Email match their account email. The attributes companyName and fullName are required but can be mapped to any value.
    -fullName to user.firstname (select Basic)
    -companyName user.lastname (select Basic)
    -emailAddress user.email (select Basic)

  • Select Internal App.

  • When finished, download the Identity Provider Metadata information and email it to your contact at ProductPlan, or to support@productplan.com.
