Once configured, your team will be able to login to the ProductPlan application using their Centrify account. They will also be able to login from the ProductPlan application using only their email address. For additional questions, please contact support.

Configuration

  • In Centrify you’ll need to create a custom SAML application. In Admin Portal, click Apps, then click Add Web Apps.
  • Click Custom, then select SAML. Confirm by clicking Yes and then close the dialogue.
  • Update your Settings. Name the app “ProductPlan” and add a description and logo. Use the following image as the logo, then save:
  • Click the SAML Response tab and configure the following custom Attributes:
    Attribute Name: emailAddress; Attribute Value: LoginUser.Email
  • Note: the attribute value must match your users’ login email address for the ProductPlan application.
  • Go to the Trust tab and scroll to the Service Provider Configuration section and select Manual Configuration.
  • For SP Entity ID use the value: PingConnect
  • For ACS URL use the following: https://sso.connect.pingidentity.com/sso/sp/ACS.saml2?saasid=72a035e2-0939-4685-aa8a-8c731729298b
  • For Recipient select the box for “Same as ACS URL”.
  • For Sign Response select Response
  • For NameID Format select: emailAddress
  • The remaining fields can be left as blank or as their default values. Click Save.

  • Scroll back up to the Identify Provider Configuration section and Download the Metadata File. Send this file to your contact at ProductPlan.

Provisioning

  1. After configuring the application, you will need to provision users to use the app. Click on the ProductPlan application and go to the Permissions tab.
  2. Click Add and enter the users or groups that you wish to have access to ProductPlan.
