The Parking Lot is a place for your future opportunities. It also provides a great way to create a backlog of ideas that you’ll use for discussion and prioritization.

To get started, you can either add a new item to the Parking Lot, or import your existing roadmap data. You can import from a spreadsheet, or directly from an integration, like Jira or Trello.

After adding items to your Parking Lot, you can add information by clicking into any column, or from the pencil icon in the Actions column. You can customize the columns you display in your Parking Lot by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner. By default, dates will be turned off, but you can choose to display them here as well.

You can also sort your Parking Lot by any column except for Tags. Please note that this would over-write a manual sort of any kind that you have applied. To manually sort items, drag and drop items in the list to re-prioritize them.

When you're ready, you can move a single Bar onto the Roadmap or select multiple Bars you want to move by clicking “Move" and then "Move to Roadmap”. If you’ve designated a lane, legend, start and end dates, this would be carried over as well, allowing you to create a roadmap in minutes from the Parking Lot.

To move a Bar on the Roadmap back to the Parking Lot, simply right-click the bar and choose “Move to Parking Lot.” You can also select multiple Bars on your Roadmap to send them back to the Parking Lot.

From the Planning Board you can select any item from your Parking Lot for scoring and further prioritization.
